Assistant Professor Christian C. Vaso is appointed as the new chair of the Department of Engineering Science as of June 2021, replacing Assistant Professor Paul Michael O. Tarnate. Sir Christian is a BS Civil Engineering graduate in UP Los Baños, and a MS Materials Science and Engineering graduate in UP Diliman. Prior to his appointment, he is the chair of the DES ad hoc committee in instituting the BS Materials Engineering program in UP Los Baños.
